The best in the radio commercial industry will be honored June 19 at the 2003 Radio-Mercury Awards.
The annual luncheon and award ceremony, to be held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York, will hand out $150,000 in prize money, including $100,000 for the grand prize. $5,000 prizes will be awarded in the General, Spanish Language and Radio Station-Produced categories.
Beginning this year, the winner of the PSA prize will be able to pick a charity to receive a $2,500 donation; and the first College Mercury Award will be given. A Lifetime Achievement award will be presented to Dick Orkin.
