RadioShack Corporation, which is among the first national retailers to begin selling HD digital radio receivers, said its CFO resigned.
David Barnes will leave the company after a transition period to join Western Union as EVP.
The news follows last week’s appointment of Julian Day as RadioShack chairman and CEO.
The company said until a replacement is named, all finance functions would report to Day, who called the new position “a terrific opportunity” for Barnes.
