Give them credit, they are serious about their LPFM. Huntley Community Radio, an LPFM licensee, is preparing a 24-hour online radiothon for Aug. 1. The object is to raise funds for the final push to get on air.

Running the radiothon will be “2 Dudes and The Duchess,” hosts of their own eponymous show. Guests expected for the radiothon include other Huntley hosts along with folks from the community, including politicians, musicians and professional models (whose gifts are lost on the radio listening audience but enjoyed by those in the studio).
