Rev. Jackson to Host Live Show on Clear Channel Radio

Rev. Jesse Jackson will host “Keep Hope Alive,” a live, one-hour talk show on Clear Channel Radio stations, airing Sundays from 8-9 a.m. ET. The program – a first for Jackson – debuts April 4 and will originate from Chicago’s WGCI(AM), focusing on cultural, political and religious issues and featuring guest appearances by community and world leaders. There will be a live call-in segment.
“We intend to connect the nation through shared conversation; your voice matters. Remember, in the beginning was the Word. The Word and you have the power. Keep hope alive,” said Jackson.
Initially airing in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit and Norfolk, Va., the show will be introduced to additional markets throughout the year. Clear Channel Radio will consider national syndication after assessing listener response.
