Cumulus Media says Dave Russell has been named program director and afternoon personality of WARM(FM) in York and Lancaster, Pa.
Russell previously programmed the station from 2007 through 2009. His most recent role was as program director and promotions director for WOGG(FM) and WPKL(FM) in the Pittsburgh area. He has also programmed and was on-air talent for WSBA(AM) and programmed both WCTO(FM) and WLEV(FM) in Allentown, Pa. He has been in the industry for 21 years.
“I am very excited to be returning to WARM, a station that has been very near and dear to me for many years,” said Russell. “The station is moving in a very positive direction with the creation of the ‘Liz & Chris’ morning show”
He will begin his new gig after Labor Day, on Sept. 8.
“WARM 103.3 is in terrific hands and Dave will do an awesome job of driving our adult contemporary market-leading brand in York-Lancaster,” said Cumulus Regional Vice President Ron Giovanniello.
