Transmitter maker Nautel announces it has hired Ken Ruzicka for its Quincy, Ill., office.
Ruzicka was recently with Broadcast Electronics, another Quincy broadcast technology citizen. At BE he held positions from test engineer to sales engineer.
Ruzicka has 30 years in the industry, including broadcast engineer work and teaching broadcast engineering. He was educated in electronics technology at Central Missouri State and picked up a business administration degree from Quincy University.
Quincy is a center of broadcast RF manufacturing in the United States. Nautel announced in 2008 it would open a customer support office there. Also making news recently is the planned sale of the Harris Broadcasting business, which has a major presence in the city.
