The Bradley Broadcast Division of SCMS said it has completed a full-station equipment order for Basoga Baino FM, for a new 5 kW FM station in Jinja, Uganda.
“Principal Moses Baleyku began this project in January 2010 to provide FM service to this underserved area of his country,” Bradley’s Art Reed stated.
“The equipment list includes products from Moseley, Jampro, AEQ, Andrew, Sony and TASCAM, comprising a complete FM transmission facility and three computer-based studios.”
Reed, who was in charge of the project and runs the Bradley office of SCMS, said that the new gear was delayed reaching the customer by the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland, but is now scheduled to arrive later this month.
