Toronto-based broadcast management software specialist Specialty Data Systems announced that Shane Harris is the new director of sales.
Harris was most recently with Marketron Broadcast Solutions, a provider of broadcast management software based in Hailey, Idaho. He was national sales manager.
Harris will be based in Boise, Idaho. One of his duties will be greater SDS expansion into the U.S. market.
SDS President Dave Cole said, “Shane is well respected in the industry for his ability to help broadcasters become more efficient.”
Specialty Data Systems’ flagship platform is Symphony, a modular suite with traffic, sales, programming, accounting and reports modules.
