AudioScience said its ASI5810/5811 PCIe audio interface cards now have a built-in headphone feature.
“This enhancement on revision E and above allows users to easily connect a pair of headphones for monitoring audio output, giving them more flexibility and convenience when using the ASI5810/5811 cards,” the company said in a pre-NAB Show announcement.
The cards are used in professional audio applications including broadcast, production and post-production.
AudioScience said the headphone jack can be helpful in recording and editing.
“Allowing the use of headphones can isolate the audio signal from outside noise and distractions, allowing for a more focused and accurate listening experience. This makes it a convenient option for those who need to quickly test audio or check for anomalies without having to switch to external monitoring.”
The addition was announced by Vice President Stephen Turner. The company will be in NAB Booth W2716.
