Sirius Makes Programming Promotion

Sirius said it promoted Steve Blatter to senior VP of music programming, adding “senior” to the title he took in 2003.
He is responsible for all programming on its 65 music channels and reports to Jay Clark, executive VP of pogramming.
Blatter is a former head of programming for MJI Broadcasting and Big City Radio; he was also music director at WYNY in New York. At Sirius he is credited with key roles in creating Eminem’s Shade 45 and the Elvis Radio channels, as well as Tony Hawk’s Demolition Radio, Bam Margera’s Radio Bam and The Wiseguy Show. He also developed its Faction, Chill, Boombox and Vacation formats.
