Market research firm SNL Financial recently released a study on the top 25 publicly held media companies in the U.S.
A pair of lists cover the top 25 media and entertainment companies — by Q2 2012 net income, and Q2 2012 operating revenues.
Not surprisingly large multimedia conglomerates with familiar names dominate the lists, with Disney, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS being leading examples. Disney was tops on both lists. CBS and Time Warner were in the top 5 on both lists.
