The National Community Radio Forum has opted to install WinMedia gear at its community radio network in South Africa. Sixteen WinMedia Radio platforms have been added to radio stations across the country, including Mogale FM, Thaba 140, Modibogo, and Ezwilethemba FM.
WinMedia Radio is designed for news and music station, offering tools for ingest, production scheduling and broadcast.
Each installation for the National Community Radio Forum includes a WinLogger work station that automatically records all audio feeds for legal needs and to facilitate content repurposing; a production workstation for multitrack editing, sequencing, voice-tracking, music scheduling and playlist management; and a WinMedia On-Air workstation that operates in both live and automated modes.
Sound Fusion is handling distribution for WinMedia in South Africa.
