Spacial Audio Offers CBS Radio to Internet Stations

For CBS Interactive, it's a connection to thousands of online-only stations

Users of Spacial Audio’s SAM BroadCaster Internet radio-station-in-a-box suite have a new treat, CBS Radio content.

Spacial Audio has inked a deal with the radio company to provide programming to SAM users.

Programs to be available include the “Weekend News Roundup,” “World News Roundup,” “Tech News” and the radio/audio version of “60 Minutes.”

Spacial Audio CTO Louis Louw said having syndication content automatically scheduled into the broadcast “lets online broadcasters improve the quality of their broadcast without extra work. Access to this level of quality content was simply not in the budget for smaller online broadcasters until now.”

CBS News VP for Radio Harvey Nagler made the announcement with Louw; he said the deal gives CBS Interactive a connection to thousands of online-only stations.
