State of the Union Goes Mobile

And on the technology front: MobiTV said it would carry the first live TV broadcast of the president’s State of the Union address that could be accessed via a mobile phone.
MobiTV was developed by Idetic Inc. and launched in November. It is available as a J2ME-download to certain PCS Vision Phones sold by Sprint. For $9.99 per month, subscribers can get MobiTV, which gives them TV channels including ABC News Live, MSNBC, CNBC, Discovery Channel, College Sports Television and The Learning Channel.
