Joe Talbot takes the engineering helm at ABC Radio in San Francisco; Rob Mariolle becomes assistant chief. KGO President/GM Michael Luckoff announced the appointments at the ABC-owned KGO cluster.
Talbot replaces Bill Hickey, whom the station says relocated to Los Angeles to work for Premiere Radio Networks.
Talbot recently served in the U.S. Navy Reserves including a four-month tour of duty in Iraq. He also has worked at stations in Santa Ana and Los Angeles.
KGO(AM) Radio Inc. includes AM outlets KGO, KSFO and KMKY, as well as the San Francisco Forty Niners and Oakland Raiders Radio Networks.
