The NAB has put a call out for broadcaster stories regarding their encounters with Hurricane Irene.
What the association is most interested in are how broadcasters transmitted important storm damage, rescue and response information, weather reporting and post-hurricane community efforts. A release also handily notes: “Station anecdotes are influential in reminding Congress of the importance of over-the-air broadcast.”
Some stories will be published in the NAB’s public service newsletter.
