Telos Systems is promoting the new Nx12 Talkshow System, which contains four adaptive digital hybrids and advanced DSP.

It is packaged in a slim, 2RU chassis; all four hybrids can be used in a single studio or broadcasters with multi-station facilities can use a Split Studio Mode to serve two studios with two hybrids each. The system works with up to 12 lines and supports analog and digital call circuits.

“Long-tail echo suppression helps tame echoes on satellite, cellular and VoIP calls,” the company stated. The unit supports up to eight control surfaces. Features include new symmetrical AGC and noise gate by Omnia for better control of loud as well as soft callers; I/O via Livewire Audio-over-IP, and AES or Analog. “When coupled with an Axia Element Console, advanced control is possible using the Element’s Call Control or Phone Fader modules,” the company states.
