Telos Systems is shipping ProFiler Version 2.0, an upgrade of its automated program archiving software.
ProFiler is used by broadcasters to store and retrieve program audio. It works with Telos professionally balanced I/O audio cards, archiving program audio to time-annotated files using MP3 compression. Users can listen to and work with audio files using a LAN or Internet connection. Archived audio can reside on a local hard drive, a Web or FTP server or networked drives for convenience.
Upgrades include support for recording of multiple simultaneous program streams using multiple balanced I/O audio cards – up to eight mono streams on a 1 GHz Pentium PC. Info: www.telos-systems.com.
