Telos Upgrades ISDN-equipped Xports

Telos has a free upgrade available that adds G.722 coding to ISDN-equipped Xport units. The additional coding enables the unit to connect to another Xport or to third-party codecs, providing a solution for remotes. G.722 coding allows ISDN calls to be made form one Zephyr to Xport to a second Xport using Low Delay MPEG AAC-LD coding.
Updated features of the version 2.0 software also include the latest optimized MPEG AAC-LD code from Fraunhofer IIS for improved fidelity for Low Delay IFB returns on POTS connections. For more information, go to www.telos-systems.com.
