Listeners interested in multimedia presentations that merge radio with the Internet might be interested in tuning in to Los Angeles station KFI(AM) as April Winchell presents an interactive photo album on June 15 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Winchell will simulcast a radio show with online visuals.
The photo album show will feature a tribute to her father, ventriloquist Paul Winchell, star of the 1960 TV series “Winchell Mahoney Time”. She will share private family photos and narrate behind the scenes anecdotes.
This will be the second edition of April Winchell’s monthly interactive show. Last month, the first show included an interactive radio slide show with pop culture historian Charles Phoenix. The Internet portion is available at www.aprilwinchell.com.
