The CopperLan collective has announced that the networking specification, version 1.0, now is commercially available for licensing.
CopperLan is offering an SDK and development hardware to those interested in utilizing it.
Its developers describe it as “a comprehensive system for command and control, combining software, middleware, protocol and procedures for computing platforms and embedded devices.”
They explain it more in depth here and why broadcasters should pay attention.
Equipment manufacturer Radio Systems was an early adopter of the CopperLan system.
