Comrex Corp. said that by no means has it decided to discontinue the TS612 Telephone System, once made under the Gentner name. Earlier this week, Comrex acquired the broadcast product line of ClearOne Communications, formerly Gentner. ClearOne now has moved out of the broadcast business. As part of the deal, Comrex becomes distributor of the TS612 for a year, and then ClearOne will no longer make it. Although ClearOne had stated that the product would be discontinued, a spokeswoman for Comrex said that is not the case. “The future of the product is to be determined,” she said.
