Uhl, Armstrong Join Telos/Omnia/Axia

Several broadcast suppliers have announced, or are about to announce, notable sales hires.
Telos/Omnia/Axia is making several hires and promotions public. Managing Director Denny Sanders said the company is bringing on Mike Uhl and Jim Armstrong as regional sales directors; both had been with SAS.
Uhl will become director of western United States sales and be based in northern California. He’s also familiar to industry buyers from his time with PR&E.
Armstrong joins as director of eastern U.S. sales. He has held sales positions with Burk, Gentner and Klotz as well as SAS. He will work out of Atlanta. Both report to Sanders.
Director of U.S. Sales Kirk Harnack moves into a newly created position as director of international business development.
“With the explosive growth of the Axia division and the increasing demand for Telos and Omnia offerings, this reorganization and expansion will allow us to keep pace more efficiently,” Sanders said in a statement.
Marc Johnson is promoted to East Coast applications engineer and works out of Alabama. Ken Skok has been hired on as West Coast applications engineer, based in Florida.
And Roxanne Bain joins the company as an international customer service representative.
Sanders said the changes take effect Sept. 1. The company is headquartered in Cleveland.
