The Eureka-147 promotional folks are ready for the holiday season. On Wednesday, Dec. 1, the Britain-based Digital Radio Development Bureau launches its final promotional campaign of the year, involving 200 analog commercial radio stations.
A series of 10 second and 20 second spots will run for four weeks. The spots also will run on digital-only commercial stations, where the promotion group hopes to reach listeners buying digital radios as holiday gifts.
Ads focus on the fact that listeners can now buy a DAB digital radio for “under 50 quid,” or about $95.
The campaign is timed to mirror a multimedia promotion for DAB radio on TV, radio and outdoor sites from the BBC.
