University Radio York Uses Sonifex

Stations broadcasts with S2 digital I/O analog mixers

The student radio station for the University of York, broadcasts 24 hours a day during term time on 1350 AM across the campus and worldwide via its website.

University Radio York’s studio uses two Sonifex S2 split digital I/O analog radio broadcast mixers, one with a meterbridge and one without.

The 10-channel Sonifex S2 desk features a range of input and output channels, PFL/cue, fader-start equipment operation, automatic monitor muting on mic-live, light switching remote outputs and optional EQ on input modules.

It also has both digital and analog input channels, with simultaneous analog and digital outputs.
