Wal-Mart has begun stocking its first HD Radio sets.
Wal-Mart and the HD Digital Radio Alliance said the retailer is carrying the JVC HD-W10 Mobile HD Radio receiver in 1,989 Wal-Mart stores in 85 markets.
The move is being promoted in an advertising campaign that began earlier this week on Alliance-member radio stations.
The JVC HD-W10 Mobile HD Radio receiver retails for less than $190.
