WideOrbit Adds Radio Automation Support Staff

Texas office adds people

WideOrbit has made a series of hires; the company states that it now has “the largest radio automation support team in the industry.”

The new employees will be based out of WideOrbit’s Coppell, Texas offices. Three are support staff while the fourth is a sales rep.

Don Wakefield joins WideOrbit from Yea! Network where he provided engineering for the “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning” show. Wakefield has also worked with Susquehanna Radio Corp.

Barry Walters was recently Denver cluster chief engineer for Wilkes Communications. He had been there 11 years and worked as a contract engineer as well.

Korey Brooks has rejoined WideOrbit. All are support specialists for radio automation.

The sales rep is John Hicks, a former sales vet with Google and Scott Studios.
