WIHT, WPOC Baltimore Names Chuck PD

Rogers returns to Louisville radio on WLGX

IHeartMedia’s Washington cluster says Tommy Chuck has been named the new program director of Washington’s WIHT(FM) and Baltimore’s WPOC(FM), effective Feb. 9.

Chuck joined the iHeartMedia team in 2000 at WKXJ(FM) in Chattanooga, Tenn. He has also programmed WQEN in Birmingham, Ala; WXXL in Orlando; and spent the past eight years as PD and digital director for WFLZ(FM) and WMTX(FM) in Tampa, Fla.

IHeartMedia D.C./Baltimore owns and operates WASH(FM), WBIG(FM), WIHT, WMZQ(FM), WWDC(FM), WCAO(FM), WPOC, WQSR(FM) and WZFT(FM).

In other iHeartMedia programming news, Louisville, Ky.’s WLGX(FM) says radio personality Vicki Rogers has joined the station. Rogers will host weekdays from 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

She has worked for over a decade at other Louisville stations, including former Cox Media properties. Rogers is involved in community activities and has received a Bell Honored Volunteer Award and the OAK Volunteer Community Spirit Award, along with other recognitions for her charitable accomplishments in the Louisville metro area.

IHeartMedia Louisville owns and operates WTFX(FM), WQMF(FM), WAMZ(FM), WNRW(FM), WLGX, WKRD, WHAS(AM) and WKJK(AM).
