Witnesses For Radio Ownership Hearing Shape Up

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., chairman of the Commerce Committee released the witness list for next Thursday’s hearing on Media Ownership: Radio Industry. This hearing is the
first in a series of hearings on media ownership. Members will examine consolidation in the radio industry.
The tentative witness list includes: Sen. Russell Feingold, D-Wis; Clear Channel Communications Chairman/CEO L. Lowry Mays; NAB President/CEO Eddie Fritts; Short Broadcasting President Robert Short; Future of Music Coalition Executive Director Jenny Toomey and singer/songwriter Don Henley.
