WNYC Radio Pledge Drive Exceeds Goal

WNYC(AM-FM), New York Public Radio, made more money than expected in its spring pledge drive – to the tune of more than $1.15 million – exceeding its million-dollar goal. The amount raised is up 26% over the 2003 spring fund drive and up 100% from spring 2002. The amount reflects donations from 11,000 listeners.
