WNYC, New York Public Radio says four of its programs will air on XM Satellite Radio’s New Public Radio Channel. The Leonard Lopate Show and Soundcheck, two programs currently heard in the New York market, will now be available to a national audience.
PRI’s Studio 360, which is co-produced by WNYC and Public Radio International, and The Next Big Thing, which is produced by WNYC and distributed nationally by PRI, will broadcast as part of a larger programming block on the XM channel, slated for a Sept. 1 launch.
