WorldSpace Now in 10th Major Metro in India

WorldSpace Satellite Radio continues to expand in India; it has begun service in another metro there.
The satcaster launched subscription service in Kolkata, the capital of India’s West Bengal state and the second largest city in the country. Its population is more than 11 million, including approximately 6 million consumers who fall into the WorldSpace targeted listener base, according to the satcaster.
The company says its service is now available in India to a potential 63 million people.
To ensure the service is accessible to subscribers in the state of West Bengal, WorldSpace satellite radios are available in some 25 retail outlets there, with more expected soon.
