The FCC has revoked its permit for Roy Henderson, permittee of WTCU(FM), Fife Lake, Mich. and cancelled the call letters. Under a Consent Decree, Henderson is also making a “voluntary” $20,000 contribution to the U.S. Treasury.
Initially, Henderson’s company, Fife Lake Broadcasting was issued a construction permit and assigned calls for the station. MacDonald Garber Broadcasting challenged the license application, alleging “misrepresentation and/or lack of candor” by Henderson last October.
In the Consent Decree, Henderson does not admit guilt nor does the FCC consider this to be a judgment either way on the issue.
