Academy Awards presenters and performers will find a Delphi XM Skyfi receiver, the Skyfi boom box and a one-year subscription to XM Satellite Radio in their gift baskets. The system contains a pair of speakers with an integrated high gain antenna and a port for the Skyfi receiver. It can be powered by an A/C adaptor to create a countertop/bookshelf XM system for the home or office, or used with six “D” batteries as a portable radio.
XM will celebrate the 75th Academy Awards with special programming on three of its 101 digital channels on March 23: E! Entertainment Radio, (XM channel 162), Special X (XM channel 30) and Cinemagic (XM channel 27).
