Yahoo! Sports Radio continues its recent push to add new programming.
Debuting on YSR Aug. 30, 7–8 a.m. is “Sports Kings’ NFL Weekly Countdown,” hosted by Gene “MeanGene The Sports Machine” Thompson and Ronnie Brooks. Not surprisingly, the show will take a detailed look at the upcoming slate of NFL games. “Sports Kings” streams at SportsKings.net and is also available via podcast.
Thompson explained, “Our goal is to provide listeners with a detailed analysis of every game scheduled this season, and the radio network will enable us to reach more people with this information each week.”
Following “Sports Kings,” “Stadiums USA” is a specialty program concentrating on, what else?, stadiums. It is produced in partnership with Stadiums USA, a sports stadium information specialist. A release explains, “Host Bill Hazen talks with athletes, coaches, authors and newsmakers who share their experiences and connections to the most storied structures and stadiums in all of sports.” The program debuts Aug. 30, 8–9 a.m.
