Yahoo Sports Radio!, sort of the Thrifty Rent-a-Car to Enterprise, Budget, Avis and Hertz, has announced it has reached the 500 affiliates plateau.
Recent additions to the family have included AMs in major markets such as Detroit (WCAR), Pittsburgh (WWCS), Columbus, Ohio (WCLT), Reno, Nev. (KSGG) and KTXX(FM) in Austin, Texas.
Yahoo! Sports Radio CEO David Gow said of the new signee in Steel City, “Pittsburgh is a great sports town, and we are delighted to welcome WWCS to our affiliate base … We have been experiencing tremendous growth in 2014, adding affiliates in a large number of strategic markets, such as Detroit, Phoenix, St. Louis, Las Vegas and Reno.” WWCS will officially kick off YSR on Sept. 15.
Yahoo Sports Radio! recently celebrated its third anniversary.
