Yellowtec b-line Replaces ISDN Interface With Second POTS

Yellowtec’s b-line Dual POTS is the latest version of its b-line, and features two analog lines.

The ISDN interface has been replaced with a second POTS interface, which the company says provides a solution for markets where ISDN is either not available or not popular. B-line Dual POTS is suitable as a telephone hybrid or as a compact format talk show system.

The audio connections to the mixing console or audio workstation also are equipped with balanced analog and digital AES/EBU interfaces as standard. Yellowtec says the compact size and included 19-inch rack-mounting kit eases fixed installation in the studio and reporter applications in the field.

The integrated digital signal processing, with echo cancellation, AGC and expander support the audio quality of a call connection. b-line Dual POTS allows for separate off-air screening via two external telephones.
