Norwegian software developer Acon Digital has released version 6 of its Acoustica audio editor for Windows.
The premium (US$119.90) and standard (US$39.90) versions are multitrack editors while the free basic version is a two-track editor.
The new premium edition adds a phase linear EQ and the company’s Restoration Suite audio restoration plug-in package. It can mix its multitrack sessions down into surround sound files.
The standard edition gets a reverb and an EQ of its own, in addition to time-stretching and pitch-shifting.
The basic Acoustica version’s new features add support for WAV64, MP4 and AAC files.
All versions have improved crash recovery functions and enhanced VST plug-in support.
