Ontario-based Arctic Palm may not be a radio household name, but perhaps it will be. The latest version of its Center Stage Live program snagged a Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award.
The company makes software packages intended to improve efficiency. Center Stage Live with CS-RDS is part of the Center Stage Live suite of automation/information/metadata aggregation and distribution modules. CS-RDS interfaces with RDS/RBDS systems and more. A recent addition to the RDS module is RT+ tagging, allowing listeners to purchase a song they are listening to. Center Stage Live can also send text for other streaming duties such as Web pages and digital signage. And it is compatible with several major automation systems.
It works with Broadcast Electronics RDi 20, Inovonics 720 and 730 RDS encoders.
