Auralex ProGO 4 x 4 gobo with optional casters
Acoustic treatment products developer Auralex has new products available for different duties.
For portable placement duties are the ProGO stand-mounted absorbers (shown). These gobos are made of Auralex ProPanels fabric-covered sound absorbing panels mounted in a melamine-laminated shoe. They are available in 2-foot x 6-foot and 4-foot x 4-foot panels (both 8 inches deep). Light in weight, the baffles can be easily moved around. They are available in 12 colors and are Class A fire-rated. Optional casters make them even more portable.
For heavier sound hushing duties, SonoFiber panels are available. Auralex isn’t bashful in describing these as for “projects requiring a Class A fire rating without the aesthetic demands of designer treatments such as fabric-covered panels.”
SonoFiber panels are one inch thick but Auralex says they absorb sound as well as two-inch thick melamine-coated panels. They are also said to be more flexible and durable than melamine products. Available in black or white.
