BIA Financial Network is announcing the availability of ActiveAccess, a private-label desktop application for delivering news, alerts, promotions and other content to the computer desktop.
The company says ActiveAccess places a company’s brand in front of an audience and offers a way to deliver information, deepen brand recognition and generate new forms of revenue. It is aimed at various industries, including broadcast media, government, education and commercial businesses. Its live unveiling will be Sept. 20 at the NAB Radio Show.
BIA acquired Oklahoma City-based Digital Information Network in July; ActiveAccess is built on the foundation of DIN software applications.
DIN is operating under the newly created BIA Information Network. The company said approximately 85 television and radio stations, in addition to newspapers, large corporations and government offices, are using ActiveAccess.
ActiveAccess gives sustained access to users by providing organizations the ability to deliver news, special announcements, sponsorship information and additional web content. The software contains no Spy or adware and uses low bandwidth, BIA says.
The application will also be part of the “Promotions with New Technologies” presentation on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 3:45 p.m.
