Wire/cable manufacturer Belden has a new Cat5e snake, the Brilliance CatSnake 1305E4.
The CatSnake 1305E4 is a four-channel version of the CatSnake 1305A. It is designed for durability and use in high-traffic areas, remote vehicles and repeated live sound deployment. It is compatible with major Ethernet-based formats and equipment such as those using EtherSound and CobraNet.
The cable uses Belden’s Bonded-Pair design, 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors and polyolefin insulation. An incorporated ripcord allows for easy installation of connectors. Each cable in the group is numbered.
