Telos Systems’ ProStream is a single-RU box dedicated to streaming Internet audio. The concept is to eliminate PC-based servers and desktops and their inherent problems while making Internet streaming simpler.
ProStream features processing from Telos’ sister company Omnia Audio. Processing includes a wideband AGC, three-band compressor/limiter, high-frequency EQ, an adjustable-bandwidth low-pass filter and a final stage look-ahead limiter. The ProStream helpfully includes a number of factory presets to start and more can be added and saved.
It is compatible with Axia Audio Livewire IP networks.
ProStream outputs MP3, HE-AAC or AAC-LC. It is compatible with Shoutcast, Icecast, Wowza and Adobe Flash media servers. ProStream also works with Live365 servers. The range of streaming is 14 kbps to 320 kbps.
