At the OMT Technologies booth,Version 4.3 of iMediaTouch will be featured.
It provides new “hourly email notifications” to keep the user current with what’s happening on the automation system as well as any missing log content.
Features added include database “Auto failover” in the event of a primary (network) failover resulting in playback from the secondary (local) on-air computer. General equipment maintenance is made easier by allowing users to switch between primary or secondary storage for audio playback. Automatic Storeforward of audio from the network to local has increased 200%, OMT said, resulting in must faster download times.
A new log priority scan feature gives priority to current day’s scheduled items when backing up audio using Storeforward. V4.3 also contains overall general improvements in iMediaTouch’s On-air, Production, Remote Voice tracking and Scheduling applications.
OMT is also planning an NAB special on Websecure + for $1,995. It is an add-on to the iMediaLogger. “Using a Linux-based appliance and a MySQL database, it provides up to 200 user accessible connections to all logged archived audio content. XML tagging in iMediaLogger also allows play out of your content through itunes and podcasts.”
