Digital Radio UK Will Hold Digital Radio Conference at British Museum

Chris Chabot, technical evangelist at Amazon, and Paul Rodgers, Head of BBC 6 Music, are featured

LONDON � Digital Radio UK�s radio industry conference, Drive to Digital, will take place at the British Museum, Sept. 26� from 1�6 p.m.

Chris Chabot, technical evangelist at Amazon, and Paul Rodgers, Head of BBC 6 Music, join the line-up. Amazon�s Chabot will talk about his role creating innovative experiences around the voice for Alexa, and BBC 6 Music�s Rodgers will share the story of the UK�s most popular digital-only station.

Delegates will also hear from Matt Hancock, Minister of State for Digital, via video, with Mike Hawes, CEO, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, and Julian David, CEO, techUK, on the topic of the UK�s digital revolution.� Katrina Mills, Audio and Connected Home Senior Buyer for John Lewis, will speak on the new audio market; Klaus Bischoff, Director of Design, and Christian Winter, Radio Development Engineer, both of Audi, along with Michael Hill, MD, of Radioplayer UK, will talk about radio in the connected car.� Stefan Warhaftig, Commercial Director at Halfords Autocentres will speak about the car specialists� role in helping to convert the UK�s cars to digital radio; and Alan O�Rourke, Managing Director, Ruark Audio, will share his first-hand experience founding a cutting-edge digital radio company.
