Kiryung Electronics of Korea is teaming with iBiquity Digital to provide U.S. consumers with their first opportunity to experience free mobile DTV along with HD Radio delivered by a single portable device. Powered by a 1350mAh Lithium battery, the combined ATSC-MH (U.S. mobile DTV) and HD Radio receiver covers DTV channels 7 and above, along with all FM HD Radio channels in a package roughly 5″ x 3″ sporting a 3.5″ TFT 320 x 240p video display.

The device utilizes a compact HD Radio module developed by Kiryung based on iBiquity’s 2261 reference design and already being deployed in Insignia NS HD 01 portable receiver, as well as Radio Shack’s Gigaware iPod accessory.

Kiryung manufactures consumer electronics such as GPS, IP, DMB, and satellite devices with distribution in Japan, China and the United States.
