WARSAW�Andrzej Siezieniewski, the Chairman of Polish Radio, on Wednesday announced the roll out of additional multiplex transmitters, saying that DAB+ signals can now be received in the urban areas of Bialystok, Koszalin, Lublin, Olsztyn, Rzesz�w and Zielona G�ra, according to thenews.pl.�

Polish Radio is the first broadcaster in the region to embrace DAB+ technology.� Transmissions started on the first of October in 2013; now, DAB+ reception is now available to 52 percent of Poland�s population with around 37 percent of Poland�s territory covered by DAB+ signals. Plans are in the works to provide coverage of the entire county by 2020. �
