Entravision Reorients Management Structure

Job titles reflect a more integrated, multi-platform approach

Media company Entravision Communications has set up a new, more integrated management structure.

In doing so, it hopes to strengthen its “ability to capitalize on its media platforms serving Latino audiences and communities and improve operating efficiencies.” The changes, it said, also reflect expansion of its digital, mobile and marketing services.

Jeffery Liberman, former president of the radio division, becomes chief operating officer. In that role, the company said, he will lead all of its media operations under an “integrated operations strategy.”

Mario Carrera, former senior VP of Spanish-language television, was named chief revenue officer. The company said he’ll head up its “integrated sales and marketing strategies and solutions.”

Esteban Lopez Blanco, former executive director of interactive, was named chief strategy officer, corporate development and innovation.

Walter Ulloa remains chairman and CEO; Christopher Young stays as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer; Mark Boelke continues as general counsel, vice president of legal affairs and secretary.

Publicly traded Entravision, based in California, focuses on the Hispanic community; it is the largest affiliate group of the Univision television network and Univision’s TeleFutura network. It also has 49 radio stations and a variety of “cross-platform” digital content and sales offerings.

Ulloa said in the announcement that Entravision’s TV, radio and interactive assets serve “the fastest-growing Latino markets in the nation” and he described the company as well positioned to serve the “integrated multi-platform marketing needs of advertisers.”
