WVUD Inducts Trio Into Hall of Fame

Ellen Ellis, Gloria James and Michael Tsarouhas named 2017 inductees

Three veterans of WVUD, the University of Delaware radio station, were enshrined in its Hall of Fame. Ellen Ellis, Dr. Gloria James and Michael Tsarouhas were the three inductees for 2017.

Ellis is the host of “The Green Willow,” a Celtic music program that airs on Wednesday evenings, and a long-time station member. She joins her husband Mark as a member of the WVUD Hall of Fame.

James is another veteran program host for the station, serving as the Thursday night “Avenue C” jazz host. She has also lent her voice to many promotional announcements for the radio station.

A former student production director, Tsarouhas provided his voice to a number of promotions as well. He currently works as a voice over talent specializing in video game acting.

The trio were inducted into the Hall of Fame on Monday, May 8.
