Jerold Jackson
Cumulus Media has appointed Frank Vulpi as vice president/market manager of the Westchester, N.Y., cluster. Additionally, Cumulus Media Lafayette, La., has tapped programming professional Jerold Jackson as program director for KRRQ(FM) and KNEK(FM).
Vulpi was previously a sales executive with Bloomberg LP, and also served as senior vice president of advertising sales and VP of syndication sales/distribution during his tenure there. Prior to that, he was VP/GM at United Stations Radio Networks and was general sales manager of NBC Radio in New York.
Jackson has been with Cumulus for over 15 years, and for the past several years has been the program director of KMJK(FM) in Kansas City. This week, he takes the programming reins at KRRQ and KNEK and will also serve as midday talent for KNEK. Corporate Program Director of Urban Formats Maurice DeVoe will assume PD duties for KMJK.
